Sea Rats Curse

The 'Curse of the Sea Rats' is a 'ratoidvania' platform adventure that boasts lovingly crafted, hand-drawn animations. Players will embark on an epic journey as four prisoners of the British empire, who have been transformed into rats by the notorious pirate witch, Flora Burn. To regain their human forms, they must fight dangerous bosses, uncover the secrets of the vast Irish coast, and ultimately capture the witch who cursed them.

The game's art and animation are truly remarkable, as the beautiful hand-drawn visuals are inspired by classic animated films and the golden age of 2D platformers. These stunning 2D elements seamlessly combine with detailed 3D environments to create a captivating 2.5D platforming experience.

Players will have the freedom to chart their own progress through the massive, non-linear world as they track down the pirate witch. Shipwrecked on the Irish coast in the 18th century, they will need more than just their swashbuckling skills to forge a path to freedom.

The game features four playable characters - David Douglas, Buffalo Calf, Bussa, and Akane Yamakawa - each with a unique playstyle to help overcome both enemies and the environment. Players can take on the adventure alone or team up with up to three friends in local co-op.
